The Amsterdam offices of Microsoft Corporation is introducing a new activity-based work concept for its employees which will be supported by the newly redesigned workplace. Both Sevil Peach and Veldhoen + Company revised the core parts of the building and introduced new fixtures to create more transparency for the space. An open route was installed to allow everyone to access the main areas of the building, meeting up in a communal workspace where both the employees and the visitors can meet up and speak regarding various products. Food areas are also installed throughout the headquarters for those who wish to experience a different dining experience while at work. Interaction and collaboration is also a main theme in the workspaces for the employees with relaxation areas easily accessible for those who need to take a break.
