The cost-comparison website operator, Pivot Freight Inc. has named Rob Taylor as their new CEO. He is one of the founders of BlackLocus Inc., which is based in Austin, and TrueCar Inc.
Pivot Freight Inc. started its operations in Phoenix in 2013. It is a developer of rate comparison engine designed for freight shipping. The company recently joined the Techstars program. It now has five employees.
The company was reported to have collected an amount of $2.8 million in financing which came from 22 investors. The president of Pivot Freight Inc. is Dan Bebout. He was previously connected to GlobalTranz.
