St. Louis based, PotentiaMetrics, which is a health analytics company is planning on opening an Austin office. In an effort to be closer to researchers affiliated with the Dell Medical School it’s planning on a move sometime in Q2 2015. The company was launched in 2010 and is working on closing $10 million in funding.
The company is working on ways to improve healthcare treatments and lower medical costs. It creates databases of healthcare outcomes and then predicts how effective certain treatments and products are.
They currently have 14 employees and plans to grow to 50 later on. Austin was the right fit for the company from a business perspective and was hooked after a visit to SWSW last year.
