Oklahoma based Quantum Materials has plans to relocate its office headquarters and development operations to Austin. Executives from the company met with Gov. Rick Perry’s economic development staff earlier this month to discuss incentives for relocating to Austin.
The company was founded in 2007 as Solterra Renewable Technologies before it merged with Hauge Corporation, which then changed its name to Quantum Materials. The company currently employs nine workers and specializes in nanotechnology and advanced materials design.
The company has yet to announce where in Austin its new headquarters will be located.
