RadioShack to close 4 Austin-area stores as part of bankruptcy plan

RadioShack Corp. has released the list of stores ready for closure in the Austin area. The company recently filed for a Chapter 11 protection from bankruptcy. The company is a retailer of different electronic products.

RadioShack, a company based in Texas, has a nationwide plan of closure which will involve around 143 branches from the lone state. There are also plans of selling some stores to General Wireless and Sprint. The numbers of the stores for sale ranges between 1,500 and 2,400.

The company started its struggle on 2012 losing $139.4 million. The year 2013 also recorded $400.2 million lost.
