An intellectual and property rights lawsuit has been filed against RealMassive last May 22 in District Court by CoStar Group, a Washington D.C.-based company that provides commercial real estate information. CoStar claims that RealMassive committed a copyright violation when it featured photos on its website that has been copyrighted by CoStar.
According to RealMassive’s spokesperson, Lana McGilvray, the company is taking the accusations seriously and is currently investigating the said claims.
CoStar hired Attorney Christopher Sileo to represent them in future legal proceedings. However, the two rival companies did not know the date when the judge will issue an injunction.
