Florida-based USM Studios, Inc. conducted a study that confirms the positive effects of taking mini-breaks to text a friend or visit a social media page. According to the study, stress within the office can also be reduced by staying in a break room or talking to a colleague. Furthermore, employees become happier by playing smart phone games or updating a status on a social media.
