Based on the filings with the SEC, six Austin-based startup companies received funding on the first week of this month.
Spredfast Inc., a software development company, raised $24 million worth of investment capital. On the other hand, portable shelters maker Reaction Inc. obtained $10 million from its first significant round of funding. For their Series B round funding, Visio Financial Services gained $6.7 million while TrendKite Inc. got $5 million. Twenty three financiers helped Smart Flour Foods LLC reached $3.8 million of its $4 million target. Last but not the least, Krystallize Technologies Inc. received its $1.2 million seed funding.
