The well-known music/film and technology fest, South by Southwest, will be happening soon. In lieu of this event, SXSW founder Roland Swenson accepted the invitation of Texas Monthly for an interview. During the interview, Swenson addressed some issues regarding the festival.
According to Swenson, SXSW has partnered with Populous, an event management firm, to ensure the safety of the attendees. He also cleared the rumors regarding the supposedly change of venue for this year’s SXSW. Swenson also talked about the growth of SXSW, its impact on the economy of Austin and how technology catches up with music in its structure.
