Austin-based startup TapSavvy is making software that will help restaurants tame their operational expenses. Started by Yaniv Tal and Brandon Rameriz, TapSavvy relocated to Austin five months ago and is currently testing its software in a number of Austin restaurants.
The company currently employs four workers, and plans to extensively test their software in restaurants before they seek investment capital. Although the company originally planned on developing point-of-sale terminals for restaurants, TapSavvy’s new software is designed to help restaurants managed food and labor costs.
