According to an article in Siliconhills Techstars has introduced its inaugural Austin class that consists of 10 companies who were selected to partake in a 3 month mentorship and funding. The program will be run out of the Capital Factory in Downtown Austin. The 10 companies where chosen out of 850 that were interviewed. The companies chosen were:

- MarketVibe
- Fosbury
- Atlas Wristband
- AuManil
- Ube
- ProductGram
- Testlio
- Accountable
- ProtoExchange

Techstars is a very selective startup accelerator that interviews thousands of companies each year before investing their money and time into 10 companies for each program location. The program is backed by over 75 venture capital firms who invest $18,000 into every company. They also provide 3 months worth of much needed mentorship.
