Texas continues to be a leader in job creation and getting businesses excited about relocating their operations here, however unless state officials address ongoing issues transportation, education, health care, and water we will lose our competitive advantage to other states. Texas has beat the national average in job creation over the last decades more than two fold. The low cost of doing business, low cost of living, and technology industries have helped keep us competitive however we will need to focus on developing our economy in other ways for it to make sense for businesses to want to live and work here.
