The sanctuary city bill, from Senator Charles Perry, allows the law enforcement officers to ask about the immigration status of an individual. The information will then be shared with the federal government. The school areas and hospitals are excluded in the bill.
Garcia said that the most businesses and industries rely on labor forces who are immigrants.
