The workplace as a strategic resource: a real life CEO’s perspective

This is a great post that shares a couple of studies that were done that prove that the Workplace is and can be a strategic resource.  They believe that office space design can have a huge impact on organizational culture, productivity, and bottom line results.  They will also share a story about how one CEO was able to turn around a struggling financial services company (National Equity Fund) by simply redesigning their office space.  Within days of reopening the office employees who never knew each other existed were meeting and collaborating for the first time.
