The hospitality sector of Austin is thriving according to a recent study done by the J.D. Power and Associates. In their first-ever Destination Experience Satisfaction Study, travelers who come to Austin are very satisfied with their experience and that they spend more while on their vacation. Those who ranked their stay around 7 out of 10 spent $250 on average while staying in the top 50 destinations cited in the list. The report was actually out since October, but the awarding ceremony will be held on the 12th of December for Austin as part of its inclusion to the list.
