After the acquisition of the 3-acre land beside Airport Boulevard in Central Austin, Travis County has been converted the land into offices where about 2,000 people visit and 400 employees work.
Now, Travis County Development Corp. plans for a new mix-used project that will be discussed and voted upon on April 29 according to County Judge Sam Biscoe. The said project will comprise more offices for the county, and the rest will be decided by the developer who will also be exempted to property tax. According to reports, the project will also focus more on transportation or housing development.
