It is good news for Austin as Websense, Inc decided to move its corporate office to Austin. The said move will bring an estimated 470 jobs to Austin with a $10 million investment with $4.5 Million incentive package.
Websense Inc is a security company founded in 1994. There was a proposed buyout of the company last 2013 by its Austin-based-private equity group partners. This is where reports of a relocation plan started.
Among the proposed 470 jobs in Austin are high-paying executive positions that are under the $10 million capital investment.
