One of the largest companies in Austin, Hill Country Electric Supply, was acquired by Wesco International Inc. following the recent announcement of the said acquisition. Hill Country is the 6th largest private company in Central Texas. The terms of the deal was not disclosed to the public.
Hill Country has nine locations in the area of San Antonio and Austin. It focuses on the market of commercial construction. It is an established distributor of electricity which is well known in the construction market as per John J. Engel, CEO of Wesco.
The closure of the deal is expected this May.
