What Keeps Employees Motivated & Productive at the Office?

As I shared in a recent post being appreciated for one’s work is more important to employees than just merely being paid more.  This infographic created from different sources tells a similar story.  78% of employees cited motivators such as recognition, opportunities to apply their talents, career development, and training as their main career motivators.  Additionally they want managers and executives to engage them with open and frequent dialog about the organization, its problems and challenges, and its current and future goals and objectives.  Building personal relationships and trust with employees is key to long term career satisfaction.
