Why Open-Office Layouts Are Bad For Employees

Fast Company Senior Editor, Jason Feifer writes an interesting article (aka Rant) about how open office space concepts make employees less productive rather than boost productivity.  He believes that every workspace should have offices for every employee.  According to his article employees who work in open office environments are interrupted 29% more than those in offices and get more distanced from their coworkers.

It’s obvious that he does not like open office space layouts, which tells me that he is probably sitting in a cubicle right now 🙂
