Want to know how Austin’s skyline would look like in 2018?
Check out this photo published by one company as they estimated the look of the Austin cityscape with the programs now being done in the city.
Some of the projects that are lined up that would change the look of Austin’s skyline include Oracle Corp’s 560,000 square foot campus, the Independent – said to be Austin’s tallest building – and the rumored sale of a top parcel in interstate 35. Another known project that may influence the area’s cityline is the Fairmont Hotel’s 37 floor building and 5th & West Condo in West Austin’s downtown area.
It is also estimated that a Class A office space rent has increased in recent years. A full report was released by Cushman & Wakefield/Oxford Commercial detailing the trends from 1990 to 2016.
