Travis County officials are considering a $38.5 million plan to construct a new 170,000-square foot office building in downtown Austin. The building would be located at the corner of West 11th and San Antonio, and would house the district attorney’s office and other court-related departments.
Travis County purchased the land this past December for $7.25 million. County officials hope that the plan will relieve worker overcrowding, and officials are set to discuss its merits in the coming days.
