The Central Texas region leads the country with 3.1 percent growth per year, and private-sector job growth is at 1.5 percent.
Other top ranked citys included San Jose, Boston, Houston, Durham, Oklahoma City, Des Moines, Denver, and Raleigh. The Business Journal gives the highest scores to citys with strong growth, moderate costs of living, and well-educated workforces.
