Forbes Magazine has compiled a list of the top twenty cities in the USA that are conducive for working mothers. Austin Texas made the list, but at number sixteen. Columbus Ohio made the top spot in this ranking. The magazine started with the top fifty cities in the country based on population. The it proceeded to factor in such variables as cost of living, as well as required commuting times. The listing expands beyond just this ranking with statistical details about the towns. Violent crimes per one hundred people, annual earnings for women, and the cost of child care were covered.
