Austin’s Bank of America Office Building is For Sale

The 257,000 sf downtown Austin office building, Bank of America tower, which is located at 515 Congress Ave has been listed for sale.  Three surface parking lots are for sale also:  201 W. Fifth St, 401 Colorado St. and the NE corner of 5th & Brazos.  Other than downtown Austin commercial real estate being a sellers market, the reasoning has not been determined yet, however there have been previous discussions about more high end mixed-use developments.  Read the full story here.
