The data isn’t always accurate however you will be able to get a general idea of what lease rates are being quoted for office space. You will probably have to call each landlord to verify that the office space options they have listed on those sites are still available. You’ll also want to confirm their lease rates………Ask if what they are quoting includes ALL operating expenses, electric, and janitorial. At the end of the day you want to know what your TOTAL monthly rent will be.
Craigslist is also a good site to check out for sublease listings or companies that have an extra office or two they want to lease out.
Consider driving around your desired office space location in Austin and call the numbers listed on the “For Lease” signs that are typically posted in front of the office buildings. They are typically pretty busy so expect a call back in a day or two.
