The biggest hotel in Austin is now open for business. After several years of construction, JW Marriott Hotel located in Congress Ave. accommodated US Army Major Walter Engle and family as first guests. The top management honored Engle’s service in the military hence he and his family were given the chance to spend a weekend in the hotel for free.
JW Marriott Hotel Austin has 1,012 guest rooms & 112,000 sq. ft. of event space. The hotel’s ballroom size is 30,000 sq. ft. In the next few weeks, the hotel will host several conferences including SWSX Health and MedTech Expo.
