Once a considered a retirement community, Lakeway, Tx is about to get a new downtown Area. Anchored by an HEB, new retail space, and a movie theatre Lakeway is working on long range plans to continue supporting the needs of the growing population. Construction will begin sometime in 2014 and will be located at the intersection of RR 620 and Glen Heather Drive. The total project will be about 250,000 sf and the plans are to make it walkable and bikeable.
