After receiving a $10 million grant from St. David’s Foundation, the People’s Community Clinic is now ready to transfer to its new headquarters. The 54,000 sq. ft. facility is located in the northeast side of the city. According to the reports, the building formerly housed the Texas Real Estate Commission.
With the acquisition of this new property, People’s Community Clinic aims to provide improved quality healthcare to Austin people especially those who do not have insurances and earn below the average income.
After the renovation of the new headquarters, the company announced that they plan to hire about 125 workers.
