Transit plans to connect cities and suburbs in the North of Austin has been unveiled. The plan uses several new bus transit companies in the area drawing out to North of Austin, which includes Pflugerville, Georgetown, and Round Rock.
The Plan will also complement the central corridor transit plan that will include a light-rail line located in Austin’s downtown.
The $164 million project plan will be broken down into several phases to complete depending on the funds’ availability. Since the plan has been completed, both Project Connect and Capital Metro will now focus on finding fund resources to make their plan into a reality in Austin.
