uShip, an Austin-based online movers marketplace, has raised $1.3 million in financing from 36 investors. Founded in 2003, uShip hosts web-based auctions for shippers, and employs over 100 workers in Austin.
uShip executives have said they plan to use the money to shift focus to the company’s commercial customers instead of consumers. Learn more about the financing here.
