XOR Data Exchange, an Austin based startup that develops software that enables data sharing via permission based controls and Audits, has just completed a $1.8 million round of financing. The capital was raised from Chicago Ventures and KGC Capital. The company was founded in 2014 by CEO Mike Cook and it currently employs 10 people.
According to XOR by sharing data companies are able to monetize their data assets while reducing credit and fraud losses, attracting new customers, and meeting regulatory requirements.
