Austin-based holograph maker Zebra Imaging Inc. has raised $2 million of a planned $3.5 million round of financing. The company received the capital from 11 different investors.
Zebra Imaging was founded in 1996 and develops a technology that can produce 3D images that can be viewed without special glasses. The company currently employs over 55 workers from the Austin area. Prior to this round of financing, Zebra Imaging received $1.4 million in 2011, and $5.9 million in Series C funding from Voyager Capital in 2006.
