The focus seems to be only on the size of space and the lease rate, however estimating your true office space costs is more than just doing a quick financial analysis. When evaluating your office space needs and costs Vivadelli suggests you consider the following:
- Study how employees use the space on a day to day basis.
- More than 20% to 30% of the seemingly booked conference rooms go unused.
- Design office space based on what employees actually need and use.
- Focus on job functions and what will create the best enironment for employees to be productive.
