Have you been looking for something different for your office or retail space? Maybe a location that is in a fun area of town, or possibly one with an incredible view? If so, then Oasis, TX is THE place for you and your business.
Oasis, TX is not just a location, it’s a destination. The Oasis, originally opened in 1982, used to just be a restaurant with incredible decks and views of Lake Travis. After a terrible fire in 2005, the Oasis has been reborn as Oasis, Texas with amazing views from all three restaurants: the new Oasis restaurant, Uncle Billy’s BBQ and Brew, and Soleil which is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant.
According to a recent article by Community Impact News, Oasis, Texas, is about 50 percent complete, as a result of a partnership, with Theriot owning 60 percent of the development—and developers, Bob Schultz and Rob Axelson, of Houston, owning the rest.
In addition to the restaurants, the Oasis, TX complex will include Austin office space and retail space for lease. There will be 10,000 sq ft of office space to lease and 30,000 sq ft of retail.
A two-story shopping village with 30 retail shops are being built for artisans, apparel & accessories, jewelry, gifts, confectioneries and more. Oasis, TX is currently seeking “the best of Austin” merchants for this unique retail village.
Oasis, TX won’t just be for eating and shopping though. There are plans for staying there too—short-term or long-term. For short-term stays, a 60-room lodge is in the development stage. The development partners would also like to add an additional “unbranded” mid-scale hotel across the street on Comanche Trail, equipped with a pool, parking and less than 100 rooms.
For those that would like to make Oasis, TX their permanent address, there is an 18-unit condominium project planned–Canyon Palms Condominiums which is set to break ground soon.
The OASIS and Oasis, Texas street address is 6550 Comanche Trail, Austin, TX 78732. It is 10 miles Northwest of the State Capitol, next to Austin’s famous Oasis restaurant, only minutes from Steiner Ranch, 3M, Lakeway and Concordia University. Easily accessed via Hwy 2222 or Hwy 620.
